VLADIMIR'S VISIONS is an anthology of the artistic works of one artist, Vladimir Iwasiuk, which spans over half a century. It is a "coffee table book" of 280 pages filled with scenes of forests, lakes, oceans, horses, flowers, trees, people, and many more, realistically presented in a variety of media including oil, watercolor, and clay.

There are few artists in all of history that have had the gift, the versatility, and technique to make you shiver on viewing a cold winter scene created by oil paint or cringe at having an evil monk follow you with his eyes from a canvas on the wall. Most of his paintings have a story that is interesting or thought provoking.

From commentary on the Kennedy assassination to a bouquet of lilacs, the book will draw you in to a different time, important issues, or just plain beauty with the colors, the composition, and the magic of artistic creation.

Appended to the artistic works is commentary related to the work, its size and medium, what inspired it, what historical points can be gleaned from it, some philosophical comment, a poem, or a wise thought by a well recognized crafter of wisdom.

Vladimir lived an adventurous life, escaping from Communism and Fascism, battling bigotry, evil, disease, and injury, but he also saw much beauty, courage, kindness, and redemption in his lifetime. This is mirrored in his art and reflected in this book.

This book is inspirational, educational and just plain beautiful whether you read it from cover to cover or just crack it open anywhere.
